G25 Desalting Cartridges and Plates

Principle: Biocomma G-25 Desalting Columns and Plates use Dextran G-25 gel filtration media to separate molecules based on molecular size. Larger molecules are excluded from the gel pores and elute first, while smaller molecules enter the pores and elute later, enabling efficient separation of biomolecules from salts and other small-molecular-weight impurities.

Application: For purification and desalting of proteins larger than 5 kDa or nucleic acids longer than 10 bp/nt.
