Product Information

Application	This medium is used for protein expression in E. coli. (Molecular Cloning: A Laboratory Manual 4th Edition). TB medium is particularly suitable for high-density fermentation and high-level recombinant protein production.
Preparation	Suspend 50.9g in 1 L of purified water. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder, add 4ml of glycerol. Autoclave at 121 ℃ for 20 minutes.
Principle	Tryptone and Yeast Extract provide nitrogen sources, vitamins and growth factors. Phosphates maintains balanced osmotic pressure.
