For protein electrophoresis:
The neutral pH buffers of the Bis-Tris gel system help improve sample integrity and gel stability, resulting in clearer, sharper bands and higher resolution. They are suitable for experiments with low protein abundance or those requiring high protein integrity for downstream applications.Use MOPS buffer for separating proteins of 15–260 kDa, and MES buffer for separating proteins of 3.5–160 kDa.
For Tris-Glycine gel system electrophoresis, choose TGS (TG + 0.1% SDS) buffer.
