APPLICATION	For the test of urease production.

PREPARATION	1. Suspend 24.0 g in 950 mL of purified water.
	2. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder. Autoclave 121 ℃ for 15 minutes.
	3. Cool to 50‑55 ℃, add 5 mL of sterile 40% Urea Solution (Cat. TJ080F) to each 95 mL base medium. Mix thoroughly and dispense into sterile tubes.
	4. Cool tubed medium in a slanted position so that deep butts are formed.

	Final pH (25 ℃)	6.8±0.2
STORAGE	Store in a dark and dry place at 2‑25 ℃, tighten the bottle cap immediately after use.
SHELF LIFE	Shelf life of sealed product is 3 years.
PRECAUTIONS	1. NOT for clinical use.
	2. Do not use this product if it is lumpy.
	3. After use, all contaminated materials must be autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 minutes and then disposed of.
