APPLICATION	For the isolation and enumeration of Clostridium perfringens from food, water and all types of foodstuffs.
PREPARATION	1. Suspend 42.0 g in 1 L of purified water.
	2. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder. Autoclave at 121 ℃ for 15 minutes.
	3. Cool to about 50 ℃, aseptically add 1 vial of supplement Polymyxin B (Cat. TJ028F) and 1 vial of supplement Sulfadiazine (Cat. TJ029F) to per 100 mL of base medium, mix well and pour into Petri dishes.

	Trypticase Peptone (Pancreatic Digest of Casein)	15.0
	Yeast Extract	10.0
	Ferric Ammonium Citrate	1.0
	Agar	15.0
	Sodium Sulfite	1.0
	Final pH (25 ℃)	7.0±0.2
STORAGE	Store in a dark and dry place at 2‑25 ℃, tighten the bottle cap immediately after use.
SHELF LIFE	Shelf life of sealed product is 3 years.
PRECAUTIONS	1. NOT for clinical use.
	2. Do not use this product if it is lumpy.
	3. After use, all contaminated materials must be autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 minutes and then disposed of.
