Application	2×YT Agar provides rich nutrient for high-density E. coli growth and phage propagation (e.g., M13 and other ssDNA phages).
Preparation	Suspend 46.0g in 1 L of purified water. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder. Autoclave at 121 ℃ for 20 minutes.
Principle	Tryptone and yeast extract provide carbon sources, nitrogen sources, vitamins, and minerals. Sodium chloride maintains balanced osmotic pressure, Agar is the coagulant of the medium.
