DESCRIPTION Egg‑Yolk Tellurite Enrichment
APPLICATION A supplement for selective isolation and enumeration of coagulase‑positive staphylococci.
PREPARATION Add each vial of the supplement to 100 ml of Baird‑Parker Agar Base (GF1024F/KL1024F) and mix thoroughly to prepare Baird‑Parker Agar.
COMPOSITION Ingredients
30% Egg Yolk Saline
1% Potassium Tellurite Solution
STORAGE Store in a dark and dry place at 2‑8 ℃.
SHELF LIFE Shelf life of sealed product is 1 years.
PRECAUTIONS 1. NOT for clinical use.
2. After use, all contaminated materials must be autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 minutes and then disposed of.
