DESCRIPTION	Fluid Thioglycollate Medium (FTM)
APPLICATION	Used for the sterility testing of pharmaceuticals and biological products, and for the cultivation of anaerobes, aerobes and microaerophiles.
PREPARATION	1.Suspend 29.3 g in 1 L of purified water.
	2.Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder.Autoclave at 121 °C for 15 minutes.
	3.If more than 30% of the medium is pink prior to use, reheat once (100 °C) to drive off absorbed oxygen. If all the medium is pink, DO NOT use.

	L-Cystine	0.5
	Yeast Extract	5.0
	Dextrose	5.0
	Sodium Chloride	2.5
	Sodium Thioglycollate	0.5
	Agar	0.75
	Resazurin	0.001
	Final pH (25 ℃)	7.1±0.2
STORAGE	Store in a dark and dry place at 2-25 ℃, tighten the bottle cap immediately after use.
SHELF LIFE	Shelf life of sealed product is 3 years.
PRECAUTIONS	1. NOT for clinical use.
	2. Do not use this product if it is lumpy.
	3. After use, all contaminated materials must be autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 minutes and then disposed of.
