| PREPARATION | 1. Suspend 31.6 g in 1 L of purified water. | |
| 2. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder. AVOID OVERHEATING. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. | ||
| 3. Cool to about 50 ℃, add 1 tube of supplement (5 mg Novobiocin sodium salt) per 500 mL of base medium, mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes. | ||
