APPLICATION	For the selective enrichment of shigella.
PREPARATION	1. Suspend 31.5 g in 1 L of purified water.
	2. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder. Dispense the medium in 225 mL amount in flasks. Autoclave at 121 ℃ for 15 minutes.
	3. Cool to below 50 ℃, aseptically add one vial of supplement (Cat. TJ006F) to every 225 mL base medium. Mix well.

	Enzymatic digest of casein	20.0
	Potassium hydrogen phosphate (anhydrous)	2.0
	Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (anhydrous)	2.0
	Sodium chloride	5.0
	D(+)-Glucose	1.0
	Tween 80	1.5 mL
	Final pH (25 ℃)	7.0±0.2
STORAGE	Store in a dark and dry place at 2-25 ℃, tighten the bottle cap immediately after use.
SHELF LIFE	Shelf life of sealed product is 5 years.
PRECAUTIONS	1. NOT for clinical use.
	2. Do not use this product if it is lumpy.
	3. After use, all contaminated materials must be autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 minutes and then disposed of.
